SOPA must die!

okay, so how many of you have heard of SOPA? i hope that at least some of you have. Sopa is a bill that threatens to shut down any website that uses copyright, including Wikipeadia (which is being shut off tomarrow to protest SOPA), YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Google, even deviantART AND FANFICTION.NET! For those of you living in the United States, it would basicly revoc your freedom of speech. It would mean NO MORE FANART,FAN COMICS, FANFICS, OR FAN ANYTHING!!!!  those of you that love to read manga, but are kind of broke, yes, I'm talking about you, YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO READ MANGA ON THE INTERNET!!!! . . . if it gets passed.
        I know many deviants that do fanart,  i do fanart, and i'm as sure as school is a cruel and unusual form of torture that you know deviants who write and draw fandoms too. Many people learn how to draw and write well from drawing their favorite charactors and writing about them. I also joined deviantART to show them proudly, and I'm sure that you did too!
        Now how many of you have read books like the Hunger Games, Unwind, Maze Runner, or Farenheit 451? those are books of the dystopian genre. IF THE SOPA BILL IS PASSED, YOU WOULDN'T JUST BE READING OF THESE HORRIBLE FUTURES ANYMORE. YOU WOULD BE LIVING THEM. I only have limited information on sopa, so please google sopa, look it up on news websites, or simply just search for it here. you could even check my favorites under down with sopa and peta folder
         Please, do not just brush it off like it will never happen, they came very close to voting on it today, or at least i thought that was what the news said. ONCE IT'S PUT INTO EFFECT, THE FREE AND OPEN INTERNET WILL BE GONE FOREVER!

UPDATE (1/18/12) : The FBI took down Megaupload! This means war. FORGET ABOUT OCCUPY WALLSTREET, THAT WAS LAST YEAR. THIS YEAR, WE NEED AN OCCUPY CONGRESS!!!!!!!         
                As Patrick Henry once said," Gentleman may cry peace, peace - but there is no peace. The war has begun! The next gale that sweeps from the north will bring to our ears the clash of resounding arms! Our brethren are already in the feilds! Why stand we here idle? . . . we have to fight and get rid of these stupid acts!
these governments have declared war on us internet users, now we must fight for our rights! we're people too, it shouldn't matter from where we're from, we should all have the right of free speech on the internet, where no one gives a rat's tail where you're from! On the internet, you can be free of people like the ones that want to pass these laws, but now they have invaded that one place, and they want to destroy it! We must hurt these horrible, sick, stupid, jerk polititions where it really hurts the most: IN THEIR WALLETS!!

UPDATE (1/30/12): horrible news folks.
i've heard that obama has signed ACTA.
That's it, we're about to be in a full blown battle, so sharpen your pitchforks and get ready to screame and protest!
let's show them that we will not bend to ridiculus rules that make no sence what so ever and give congress a bigger pay check! this isn't a threat of war, its a declaration of war!
The government has been get more and more corrupt since the economic colapse. just this morning i saw that protesters (occupy wallstreet ones) over in Chicago (i think) were harresed by the police. they destroyed their tents and made them evacuate with . . .something, smoke bombs maybe. and in washington d.c., the protesters have till noon today to vacate the parks near the white house. one protester got so mad at it that he started the notices off of people's tent, and was arressted. personally, i would have thrown a few punches at the cops arresting him . . .
